Love the blog - the two keeper Silvertones are the onepictured- the 1483 and the 1484 - both are amazing at any level with any guitar and I’m a blackface fender reverb guy ! Also the Airline 9013 ala the 1482 Silvertone is also the best low volume distortion amp I’ve kept. But the one that is still affordable and no one seems to know about is the WEM Dominator from the 70’s ( not the blue and white Watkins ) these are single 12 and two EL84 amps that mostly only run on 220 volts so need a step up tranny but they are as close to the perfect stage amp I’ve used. Distortion and clarity are seemingly opposed forces but the Dominator does both st levels you can hear above the drummer.
