Hello everyone. My father just gave me a guitar that he had kept in his attic since the 1960s. I have investigated and found very little about it. It's a Rhythmline Mosrite, 1960's Japan. Forget to tell you that this brand new one has never been touched. It even has the protective papers still attached

I own a 64 Mosrite Ventures model in 1985 cost $889 WHSC included overnight air shipping to Hawaii. I also have a 2007 Filmore 63 Clone bound sunburst sidejack. This guitar is labled Mosrite of USA, no Ventures logo,it was purchased new in Japan at Shimamura Music in Shinjuku, the cost was $3100 at a yen rate of 111:1, I was working in Japan. The models labeled Mosrite of California were selling at double the price of the Mosrite of USA models. In December of 1965 I bought a new 65 model, but had a chance to buy a new old stock 63 sunburst bound sidejack Ventures model. The 63 was 30% off list WHSC, I didn't buy it. I really screwed up by not doing so; but then again I sold the 65 in 1967 and likely had I bought the 63 it would've had the same fate.
