I plugged it in and nothing happened. It has a cool sweaty look to it. Are these amps worth anything? Are all the parts replaceable?
Im not a guitar player, but I know guitar players love these old tube amps.

]]> https://www.myrareguitars.com/1966-lectrolab-s400-guitar-amplifier#comment-1285457 Thu, 25 May 2017 00:29:04 +0000 http://www.myrareguitars.com/?p=231#comment-1285457 Greetings, a friend gave me a 1968 Electro Lab Model R204D Tube amp because he didn’t want it anymore..It has one blown 50c5 tube but the other 3 glow and it makes a loud hum when the vol is turned up aka blown tube…I looked up the model and its a rare breed so to speak…Original everything except the RCA tubes….Anybody out there have or had one of these Electro Lab amps… It is a 1968 according to him..The grill cloth is pretty “hip”..Going to buy a replacement tube for 11 bucks and give it a whirl…Might be interested in selling it to a new home after I see if the blown tube is the problem….
