How about some history info on the Standel transistor amps?
There seemed to be so many models - what were they? 4-12, 2-12, 1-15, bass, etc. I&#039;ve got one with a single 15in. JBL that is loud and clean, and heavy as heck!! Don&#039;t they have &#034;potted&#034; circuit modules? Seems like a pain for repair - what happens when the caps inevitably go bad?

Who used them? I think I recall seeing The Association with them (and Hagstrom guitars!) Anybody else?
