In the near past I was considering to buy Fender Deluxe VM. Then I realize that I actually want get sound that doesn’t need a lot of other guitar stuff in order to obtain satisfying sound as well as I need an amp which will sound like nothing else that you can regularly purchase. First I checked Fender Custom Shop but finally I bought other boutique amp – HOT Bassguy. It is rare as one can buy it only at one place – http://www.musicians-navigator.com/guitar-mini-heads/hot-amps-bassguy-mini-head-25w/ – however as rare it is as good it sounds! It is absolutely my best purchase ever. It is not so price as Fender and you get more for the many and same time quality and sound are astonishing. It is absolutely hand-made custom amp. As Don wrote in the article, you are getting quality and value – this thing will be part of my family heritage 🙂
I will definitely buy also HOT custom speaker cabinet in the very near future, as they claim that this amp is working the best with their speaker cabinets and I believe. Currently I am running this amp through the Fender speaker cabinet – Supersonic enclosure.
