At ~1:15 she starts playing a bass line and at the same time sings the melody. [I think it was the drummer, Art Blakey, who heard the melody in his head when he was soloing as well.]

Melody . . . its everywhere.

BTW – You can’t copyright titles or chord changes but you can copyright the melody & the lyrics to a song.
