I find this #1 reason to be more than myopic. The author makes it sound like every band is trying to make it to the &quot;big time&quot;. There are plenty of musicians who maintain a day job and keep the band experience going throughout life with no intent whatsoever of &quot;making it big&quot;. Then there are the musicians who have made a career of making music outside of being in a fixed band. Plenty of bands are dedicated to making music (original or covers) and having fun and making money without the mentality that the &quot;#1&quot; reason in the article suggests... There&#039;s just so much wrong with #1, but I&#039;ll shut up now...]]></description>
