		<description><![CDATA[What about the ladies? Almost to a tee, these lists are a veritable sausage-fest, yet in the last 10-20 years, there have been quite a few women who are as accomplished as guitarists and musicians as any of those on this list. 
Orianthi Panagaris, Nita Strauss, Jen Majura and Lzzy Hale are the ones that come to mind first on my list. If we go back into latter part of the last century, we have Bonnie Raitt, Ann Wilson and Jennifer Batten. Everyone of these seven guitarists are accomplished rhythm and lead players, even though a few of them are not known for traditional lead work as their role on the stage in their respective acts calls more for a supporting role the majority of the time.]]></description>
